To assist director, supervisor in the organization and daily function of the endoscopy area in accordance with established federal, state, and accreditation standards, regulations and Center policies and procedures. To assist the supervisor in overseeing patient care activities in the operating room. To assist Endoscopy Room Technicians and Physicians in direct patient care. To maintain a high standard of safety for the patient and staff members. Patient liaison for care rendered. Monitor stock levels, outdated supplies and equipment needs and report to Material Management Coordinator or Director. Serve as a role model and leader for technicians and orderlies.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
(A = basics; B = preferred)
A. RN required education
B. BSN preferred
A. Critical Care experience including knowledge of airway management
B. Endoscopy experience preferred
A. RN, CPR, (ACLS or willing to obtain)
B. Specialty certified : Endoscopy
A. Basic computer skills
A. Clear communication skills, willing to learn if no previous Endoscopy experience
