Position: Clinical Nurse II Location: GI Medicine Clinic - Memorial Hospital (1st Floor) Hours: 8am-4:30pm
The candidate for this Clinical Nurse II position will provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care, and utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting according to the established rules and regulations. The Clinical Nurse will also be responsible for assisting the professional caregiver in the delivery of patient care, transporting patients and/or equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms. Organizational skills, teamwork, efficiency, attention to detail, critical thinking and excellent customer service skills are essential requirements for this position.

Qualifications: Candidate is required to have graduated from a state-accredited school of professional nursing, have at least one (1) year of professional nursing experience and be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina (RN NC LIC).
*If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled in an accredited program within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
