The Associate Director is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling the daily operations and clinical practice of The Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Center, in order to provide quality, individualized patient care in accordance with Medical Center philosophies. The Associate Director assumes fiscal responsibility through preparation of unit budgets, serves as liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promotes the maximum growth and development of each employee, supports IBD clinical and translational research, participates in strategic planning, both long and short term, and assures patient advocacy.
This candidate must have a Baccalaureate of Science Degree in Nursing, and a Master’s degree in MSN, MPH, MHA, or MBA is required. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, have a valid California Registered Nurse License, BLS Certification, and a Specialty certification in field of practice is required within one year of hire. A minimum two (2) years management experience in ambulatory care operations or other relevant clinical experience is required. Prior experience with infusion center operations preferred.
