Gastroenterology Associates Division -
Responsible for daily operations of the infusion center and clinical office, ensuring compliance with Washington Gastroenterology (WAGI) and Gastroenterology Associates Division (GA) policies and procedures, delegation of tasks, assistance to providers, equipment and supplies, HIPAA compliance, staff education, and applicable administrative duties. Directly supervises infusion staff, clinical office and related activities according to the policies and objectives of WAGI and GA. Works in the infusion center and clinical area regularly as needed for staffing support as well as in a supervisory capacity.
Current WA state RN licensure Two years lead, supervisory or management experience in a clinical setting. Maintains current BLS and ACLS certification Computer skills required Strong leadership skills. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. 50% - Direct/active regular participation in the infusion center and clinical office
2. 25% - Clinical office resource to providers and managers, supervisory and administrative
duties related to the infusion center and office clinical department processes and
3. 15% - Infusion center and clinical office staff orientation, education and
competency training. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) queue and charting monitoring. Committee participation.
4. 10% - Other duties as assigned.
