EndoSoft® is seeking clinicians with experience in implementing Electronic Health Records from workflow analysis through implementation, go-live, ongoing support and system upgrades and customization. The Clinical Informatics Specialist plays a key role in the project management and implementation of EndoSoft® solutions. The Clinical Informatics Specialist will work with clinical staff to determine ideal workflow using EndoSoft® applications and seamless integration with other electronic health systems.
Clinical Informatics Specialist will take ownership of technology products and use EndoSoft® expertise, analytical skills, and operational workflow knowledge to automate and standardize clinical workflows and improve quality of care for patients. Clinical Informatics Specialist will work with team members, physicians, and managers to develop prototypes, configure medical group technology solutions, and coordinate deployment.
•The Clinical Informatics Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing project plans for assigned customers from start to finish. •The Clinical Informatics Specialist maintains strong relationships with assigned customers before, during after going live, communicating regularly to promptly resolve any requests and continuously streamline workflow. •Assist other EndoSoft® teams with implementation and upgrade projects throughout the country and internationally, including end user training and project go lives. •Develop and implement customized training for clinical users, ensure that all users are proficient in the operational use of system during implementation and after deployment. •Deliver evidence-based clinical content and ensure the quality of clinical content to meet national and regional regulatory mandates. Help develop clinical content and workflow. •Design, build and configure within assigned EndoSoft® system modules for software and application development. •Lead and facilitate decision making within the organization to tailor EndoSoft® system to meet business needs. •Meet with requestors and sponsors to capture business & technical requirements, and work with product owners to define acceptance criteria. •Create prototypes to increase end-user involvement and obtain user feedback. •Design and develop test scripts and materials for end-to-end workflow testing. •Develop, support and maintain required system design and build documents. •Create SQL reports to analyze operational problems and ensure application solutions support business needs and direction as designed. •May lead and manage multiple projects and associated cross-functional and multi-disciplinary project teams. •Assist in ongoing internal staff training. •50-60% travel. •Must have strong technical aptitude for software applications, strong problem-solving skills, and critical thinking to design and implement optimized workflow solutions. •Experience with electronic health records and/or endoscopy procedure documentation implementation. •Must be adept at working with and successfully training various stakeholders including clinical and technical. •Must demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and can manage and prioritize multiple projects at one time. •Prior experience with EHR training •Prior experience with EndoSoft® or similar medical software applications •Technical writing experience •Bachelor’s degree in a health care or related profession. •At least 3 years of clinical experience with direct patient care as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse or similar level clinical title. •Experience or training with clinical workflows and medical record system. •Experience with database systems such as SQL is preferred. •Ability to analyze and communicate complex concepts. •Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills. •Must have good written and verbal communication. •Work with minimal guidance. •Other duties as assigned
