JOB TITLE:Registered Nurse Clinic LOCATION: Olive St Clinic Scranton DEPARTMENT:Gastroenterology WORK SCHEDULE: Days WORK TYPE: Full time
JOB SUMMARY: Provides primary clinical support to the provider and patient to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient's condition. Performs patient assessment, triage and patient/family/significant other education. Follows up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy and filing of information in medical record to ensure continuity of care and quality. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range of their assigned clinical area.

Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills. Must maintain a high regard for confidentiality.
Demonstrated flexibility, tact and the ability to work both independently and as a team member.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Requires registered nurse currently licensed in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure.
Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
Must be qualified to pass medications. Must be BLS certified.
Minimum of one year clinical RN experience required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
