SummaryThe Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based Sterile Processing activities.
Responsibilities- Responsible for activities including, but not limited to: decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation including various software applications, assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts, paring and replenishment of materials, and working in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies.
Qualifications:
Qualifications: Education Required: High School diploma or GED required. Required: Successful completion of Sterile Processing Program. Experience Required: 1 year in SPD experience. Preferred: GI scope experience. Certifications Required: BLS required. IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certified. Must be available to take call and work weekends to ensure patient care needs are met. Wage Range: $21.62 - $29.07
