Work Hours/Shifts:

Part-Time Days  

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Demonstrates professional expertise and competence with endoscopic equipment when assisting the physician
• Accurately prepares and administers medications and IV fluids according to physician orders and hospital policy.
• Reviews chart for signed consent and physician's orders before transporting patient to department
• Observes and assesses patient status before and after each procedure as evidenced by vital signs, heart rate monitor, and/or pulse oximeter documentation
• Recognizes significant changes in patient's condition taking appropriate action

What You Will Need:

• Current GA RN license
• Current BLS/ACLS 
• ASN required
• One year Endoscopy experience or prior experience in ICU or procedural areas ( OR, Cath Lab, etc)
• SGNA certification within 3 years of hire date

Job Summary: 

The Endoscopy Nurse practices as a professional nurse assuming responsibility and accountability for the care given to patients in the Endo Lab. Assist physician with all procedures in Endoscopy.
