Summary

The Prep Clinic Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, cardiac cath, endoscopy, radiological or other outpatient procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates competency in assessing patients, planning, and coordinating their care. The registered nurse participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with other disciplines to provide evidence based medical care for the patient.

Education

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Certifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility to do so.
• CPR certification
