The Licensed Practical Nurse is located in the Orthopedics and Podiatry service at Northport VAMC and is part of the interdisciplinary team caring for veterans and is responsible for performs complex age specific nursing care for adult and geriatric inpatients or outpatients with a variety of physical, mental, behavioral or psychological needs, and is limited to situations demanding an exceptional degree of practical nursing knowledge and skills, according to assignment and training. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
