The role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations. The role demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. This position consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. The Clinical Nursing Manager supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * 3 years RN experience, required* 1-year clinical leadership experience, required* High School GED required* A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), required* Masters Degree preferred * Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required * BLS through the American Heart Association* Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role. Certification must be passed/obtained within two years of hire or transfer into the role.* Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.* Credential: Nursing Specific- ANCC ApprovedPhysical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen. Just like the amazing associates who work here, every community within our connected ecosystem has its own unique history, story and personality. The 4 South Medical Surgical department at St. Anthony North Health Campus is 30-bed unit which treats cardiac, neuro and med-surg patients. This includes a variety of diagnoses, including CHF, COPD, Chest Pain, MI, GI bleeds, post-catheterization, TIA, TR bands, and stroke. We receive overflow from anywhere in the hospital if they have a cardiac or neuro issue, provided they meet unit criteria. Our mission is to provide excellent patient-centered care with teamwork and compassion. Our department appeals to anyone interested in furthering their skillset, specifically in the realms of cardiac or neurological patients and who wishes to be part of an amazing group of talented nurses who are genuinely passionate about the care of our patients.
