Patient Care Technician, Full Time Days, Endoscopy, Morristown Medical Center
Job Description Responsible for assisting pre-op and recovery patient's ensuring the need of each patient is met.Principal Accountabilities:1. Stocking pre and post op supplies including linen. 2.Collect and clean stretchers/wheelchairs, make stretchers with clean linen 3. Escorting discharged patients and family to their car or discharge lounge. 4. Assist patients with undressing & dressing if needed. 5.Attach patient to cardiac monitor, BP cuff and O2 sat. Attain patient's temperature and report to RN. 6. Check patient's blood sugar if ordered.
